What to wear on a Sunday Brunch
It is Sunday morning, we are free from work commitments and duties, we are in full relax and we don’t even want to fall into the Italian stereotype of the apocalyptic Sunday lunch with relatives. A less demanding brunch therefore becomes more and more a need and after that we will spend the rest of the day with friends.
What could be a nice outfit for this occasion?
MAN
The risk of transferring the Sunday relaxation into a bit too “sporty” outfit like for example a sweatshirt and gym pants, is always around the corner, but let’s see how we can be comfortable and relaxed while keeping an elegant and pleasant style.
The perfect shoe can be a comfortable block in colour white leather sneakers, but also cognac-coloured embellished with a woven leather can be the right compromise between comfort and informal elegance.
The inevitable classic denim jeans should not be snatched or used effect but classic with a regular or skinny fitting for those who can afford them. Shirt in light blue plaster and on top a geometric patterned light sweater. Alternatively, a soft sand-coloured cotton gabardine trousers, a light denim shirt and a cardigan sweater with a shawl collar in a British green colour.
WOMAN
The ideal shoe for women could be a pair of white sneakers embellished with leather details that recall warm spring colours. Another option could be a soft loafer, finished with a golden clamp that perfectly matches the leather of the thin and flexible sole or a tone-on-tone tassels option is absolutely cool.
The warm tones of spring can be recalled by light and soft fabrics like cotton or natural canvas. A pair of light denim jeans, a white blouse with three-quarter sleeves and a light and colourful overcoat are a perfect combination for those who want to be comfortable but at the same time research a touch of elegance and colour.
